AHW has an education standard, which Members are obliged to meet to maintain membership status. This standard came into effect on May 1, 2012. The following timeline will be in effect for all members of Atlantic Home Warranty.
We have kept pace with the industry's ever-changing needs by designing and delivering practical education and training to those in the new home building industry. All of Atlantic Home Warranty's courses are developed and delivered by seasoned instructors who are recognized as subject matter experts in their respective disciplines.
Courses and Training Timelines
- National Building Code
completed within 1st year of membership - National Building Code Updates (As applicable) completed within 12 months of course availability
- Atlantic Builder Workshop Series - following modules to be completed within two years of membership
- Foundations - On-Demand Course, complete at your own pace
- Water Penetration - On-Demand Course, complete at your own pace
- Better Built House
completed within 3 years of membership - Atlantic Housing Professional Series
To be completed within 4 years of membership- Project Management - 4 Hour Webinar
- Construction Law - 3 Hour Webinar
- Financial Management - 4 Hour Webinar
